Message from the Chief Administrative Officer:

Thank you for visiting our new and updated website. Please check back often as we will be taking a much more proactive approach in utilizing this technology to share news about our community hospital.

As there continues to be rapid and widespread changes in the health care industry (particularly in rural communities across this great nation), Grafton City Hospital has recently taken proactive steps to continue to be the cornerstone of health care in our community.

On September 16th, 2019, Grafton City Hospital and Mon Health Systems announced an Affiliation Agreement. This Affiliation Agreement will ensure that Grafton and Taylor County citizens continue to have an independent health care choice close to home. The Agreement, which was endorsed by the Board of Trustees of both entities, allows Grafton City Hospital to achieve operational cost efficiencies through the use of Mon Health business support services, clinical affiliation and purchasing power. Grafton City Hospital will continue to focus on the health care needs of its community under the oversight of its local Board of Trustees.

For those of you that utilize our services here, I extend my most sincere appreciation. For those who have sought services elsewhere for whatever reason, I offer an invitation to you to become acquainted with our staff and our wide array of services that are further explained on this website.

We offer many of the same services with the exact same equipment as larger facilities. We have a Toshiba Aquilion Lightning CT scanner, a Hologic Digital Mammography machine (Monday, Thursday and Friday), Nuclear Medicine services two days a week (Tuesday and Wednesday), MRI once a week (Tuesday), a Dexa Scan machine to measure bone density, several on-site Specialty Clinics such as Cardiology, Nephrology, Podiatry, General Surgery, Audiology, Pulmonology and Internal Medicine. We also plan in the near future to offer additional specialty clinics to help meet the medical needs of the community.

We have 25 acute care beds for inpatient and swing/skilled care, 24/7 /365 days Emergency Room services, a Rural Health Clinic (on-site) staffed by medical providers that care about patients, our community and Grafton City Hospital. In addition, we also provide ultrasound services, digital x-ray, a full complement of Laboratory services, Respiratory Therapy, Sleep Lab, inpatient and outpatient Physical Therapy, a Rural Health Clinic in Flemington, Wellness Center, Grafton Recovery Center, Stress Testing, and a host of other services too numerous to list.

The Hospital is very fortunate to have a strong, collaborative working relationship with all the other health care providers in our community; however, we still consider Grafton City Hospital to be the cornerstone of health care in our community, and we don't take that responsibility lightly. We do our very best to provide the residents of Grafton and its surrounding communities with high quality and affordable health care. We've been doing it for over 100 years, and we still want to earn your trust.

I welcome the opportunity to speak at various civic and community organizations to convey that there are good things happening at this Hospital. Compassionate patient care rendered in a high quality fashion close to home is our number one goal.

Grafton City Hospital is a place "where neighbors care for neighbors". I invite you to come and see us when your patient needs arise!
